Shijie Wang

Shijie Wang is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Allus AI, a Y Combinator-backed manufacturing artificial intelligence startup. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to establishing his current venture alongside co-founders Kai Zhisen An and Jason, Wang served as a Large Language Model Scientist at NVIDIA Lab. During his tenure at NVIDIA, he identified critical pain points within the industrial sector, which ultimately informed the technological direction of his enterprise. At Allus AI, he leads the development of vision foundation models designed to automate quality inspection and optimize production, replacing traditional systems with scalable software that aims to deliver million-dollar vision capabilities in minutes. Wang's current focus centers on bridging advanced machine learning research with practical computer vision applications to modernize global manufacturing infrastructure.
