Shigeru Handa

Shigeru Handa is the Director of Asia Africa Investment and Consulting based in Japan, where he evaluates innovative businesses and advises on market entry strategies for Africa and the Middle East. Over a 20-year career in international business development and corporate consulting, he has held strategic positions at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Boston Consulting Group, and Natural Lawson. Additionally, he spent eight years with the United Nations Development Program, leading multinational teams across Jordan and Iraq. He currently serves as a board member for Rology, an FDA-cleared teleradiology platform, and holds a Bachelor of Law from Kyoto University alongside dual master's degrees from the University of Southern California. His current focus centers on structuring cross-border partnerships, securing project financing, and advancing infrastructure development within the healthcare and energy sectors across emerging markets.
