Sherman Lee

Sherman Lee is a software engineer, entrepreneur, and the Co-Founder and Venture Partner at Deep Ventures, leveraging nearly a decade of technology investing experience to support emerging companies. Prior to assuming this position in May 2020, he served as a Partner at the Zeroth artificial intelligence accelerator, which was subsequently acquired by Animoca. In November 2017, he co-founded Raven Protocol, an ongoing venture where he focuses on building decentralized compute infrastructure specifically designed for artificial intelligence and machine learning. Lee began his professional career working in machine learning engineering at Yahoo and Ask, successfully scaling consumer technology platforms that served hundreds of millions of users globally. He graduated from UC Berkeley with undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Linguistics, providing the foundational engineering expertise that drives his current focus on artificial intelligence and decentralized systems.
