Shellye Archambeau

Shellye Archambeau is an angel investor at Broadway Angels and a corporate board director for Verizon, Nordstrom, and MetricStream, based in Palo Alto, California. Previously, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of MetricStream, scaling the governance, risk, and compliance software provider into a global enterprise with over 1,200 employees. Before this tenure, Archambeau spent 15 years in executive leadership roles at IBM, becoming the first African American woman sent on an international assignment by the corporation. She subsequently held prominent positions across the consumer and enterprise sectors, including serving as the President of Blockbuster.com and the Chief Marketing Officer at Loudcloud. The Wharton School graduate is also a published author and a frequent guest lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her current focus centers on corporate governance and providing early-stage capital to digital health and technology startups.
