Shekar Ayyar is the Managing Partner at Endiya Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. In this role, he oversees a portfolio with more than $200 million in assets under management and recently helped raise the firm's $100 million third fund in 2024. Before transitioning to venture capital, Ayyar served as the Chief Executive Officer of Quest, which was acquired by Dell in 2016. He also held engineering and product leadership positions at Informatica and early-stage startups like WebManage and Ensim. He currently holds over ten board seats, including a 2023 appointment at the artificial intelligence startup Krutrim, and earned degrees from the Wharton School, Johns Hopkins University, and IIT Bombay. His current investment focus centers on enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and deep technology startups operating within the Indian market.
