Sheila Gulati is the Founder and Managing Director at Tola Capital, a venture capital firm investing globally in early-stage artificial intelligence and enterprise software. Prior to establishing the firm in 2010, she spent over a decade at Microsoft, where she led enterprise IT strategy and launched Microsoft Azure, which is now a $100 billion revenue business. Earlier in her career, she worked as an investment banker at Robertson Stephens, executing networking and software transactions including the initial public offerings for Juniper Networks and F5. Her notable portfolio investments and subsequent exits include hybris's sale to SAP and Clipchamp's acquisition by Microsoft. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University and serves on the national board of the education nonprofit organization Pratham. Gulati currently focuses on identifying and scaling next-generation enterprise software platforms driven by artificial intelligence.
