Sheel Mohnot is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Better Tomorrow Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. He co-manages the firm's $300 million in assets under management, which includes a $225 million second fund raised in February 2022 to lead pre-seed and seed rounds globally. Before transitioning to venture capital, he founded and successfully exited multiple startups, notably selling payment platform FeeFighters to Groupon in 2012. Mohnot previously served as a partner at 500 Startups, where he launched the 500 Fintech accelerator, and he co-founded the startup investing podcast The Pitch. As an angel investor and fund manager, his early-stage portfolio includes prominent technology companies such as Flexport, Ramp, Unit, and Coinbase. His current investment focus remains strictly dedicated to global financial technology, encompassing vertical software and marketplace applications.
