Shaz Sulaman

Shaz Sulaman is the Founder of Solid Bond Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Manchester, England, United Kingdom. Before establishing the investment firm, he served as the Sales Director at Phones4U, where he successfully expanded the company's retail footprint from 70 to over 400 stores and generated more than £1 billion in annual revenue. He subsequently held executive operations and management roles at several private equity-backed consumer finance and retail companies, including Buy As You View and Comet Group. Through Solid Bond Capital, Sulaman has invested in over 20 pre-seed and seed-stage startups, recently participating in a $330,000 seed funding round for InHaus in late 2022. His current professional focus remains on providing early-stage capital and operational expertise to emerging technology and retail startups located primarily in the North West of England.
