Shawn Dimantha

Shawn Dimantha is an AI Product Leader at YouTube, where he drives machine learning growth for video and creation tools operating at a billion-user scale. Previously, he built healthcare technology products at Verily Life Sciences and the Peterson Center on Healthcare. As a Co-Founder, he launched the health tech startup Auggi, which was incubated at MIT and subsequently acquired by Seed Health, and established Hydra Ventures, an investment firm with over $10 million in assets under management. He holds a bioengineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and has recently developed recognized artificial intelligence projects, including a text-to-protein generation tool and a specialized project selected from over 13,000 applicants for an Anthropic hackathon. Dimantha currently focuses on advancing scalable machine learning applications and investing in frontier technologies across the artificial intelligence and healthcare sectors.
