Shaun Dunlop

Shaun Dunlop currently serves as an Associate at Summit Partners, a global growth equity and venture capital firm. Prior to transitioning into the venture capital sector, he spent time working in the financial services industry, specifically serving within the Fundamental Strategies Group at Goldman Sachs between January 2016 and December 2016. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Cape Town, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Science degree with a dual concentration in Finance and Accounting, ultimately graduating with First Class Honours. In his current investment role, he is responsible for evaluating prospective financial deals and executing transactions within the broader growth equity landscape. Dunlop’s professional background combines rigorous academic training in finance with practical experience in global investment banking and a current focus on evaluating and scaling private market enterprises.
