Sharon Wienbar

Sharon Wienbar is an angel investor and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Broadway Angels, based in San Francisco, California. She serves as a Board Director at Resideo Technologies and previously held board seats at Applause and Actiance before their acquisitions by Vista Equity and K1. Wienbar was the CEO of Hackbright Academy until its 2016 acquisition by Capella Education, and she previously worked as a Venture Capitalist at ScaleVP leading software and mobile investments. Her earlier career includes serving as Vice President of Marketing at Critical Path, alongside product management and consulting roles at Adobe Systems and Bain and Company. Wienbar holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and two engineering degrees from Harvard University, underpinning her current focus on board governance for public and private technology firms.
