Sharon Shacham

Sharon Shacham is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of E44 Ventures, an early-stage climate technology investment firm based in Israel. Before launching the fund in June 2022, she co-founded Karyopharm Therapeutics in 2008, serving as Chief Scientific Officer and head of research and development until May 2022. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at Epix Pharmaceuticals as Senior Vice President of Drug Development and at Predix Pharmaceuticals as Director of Algorithm and Software Development. Throughout her career as a biotech entrepreneur, she has founded two NASDAQ-listed companies and raised more than $750 million in capital across various ventures. She also serves as an active board member for multiple emerging biotechnology startups. Equipped with both a PhD and an MBA, she currently focuses on leveraging her scientific background in computational chemistry to identify and scale carbon elimination technologies.
