Shannon Austin

Shannon Austin is a Partner at Financial Venture Studio, where she leads communications advisory for the firm's portfolio of seed-stage fintech startups. The venture capital firm recently closed a $13 million seed fund and has backed rapidly growing consumer finance applications, including successful early investments in Digit and Dave. Prior to her current role, Austin led marketing and communications at the Financial Solutions Lab, advising more than 33 early-stage financial technology companies on their initial growth strategies. She also co-founded bankjobs.com, an online recruitment platform dedicated to the banking and financial services sector that operated for 16 years and served major financial institutions including Bank of America.
