Shan Aggarwal

Shan Aggarwal is an Investor at Coinbase Ventures in the San Francisco Bay Area, focusing on seed and early-stage cryptocurrency investments. Operating within a fund managing over $1.2 billion in assets across more than 200 investments, he directs capital toward decentralized finance, web3 protocols, and fintech infrastructure. Since joining the firm in 2023, he has executed several major deals, including leading the $100 million funding round for Berachain in April 2024 and participating in the $15 million Series A for Goldsky in February 2025. Prior to this, he served as an investor at Initialized Capital and held operational roles at various early-stage technology startups after earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.
