Shalin Shah

Shalin Shah is the Managing Partner at Core91 Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. An alumnus of IIT Bombay, he previously founded and scaled multiple technology startups operating within the financial technology and educational technology sectors before transitioning to institutional investing. Shah currently oversees a portfolio of more than 50 companies, with notable investments and exits involving prominent Indian technology enterprises such as Khatabook, Razorpay, and Pine Labs. In 2025, he directed a $5 million seed funding round for the artificial intelligence startup Learnix. He subsequently launched Core91 Ventures' third fund in early 2026 with a targeted $50 million corpus to expand his firm's regional footprint. His current investment strategy focuses on providing seed capital to scalable software, healthtech, and consumer technology ventures across the broader Indian market.
