Shailesh Puthran

Shailesh Puthran is a Partner and Head of Institutional Operations at Woodstock Fund, based in the Cayman Islands. Before joining the 20-employee decentralized finance investment firm in 2021, he spent over a decade within the Aditya Birla Group. He served as Senior Vice President at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance from 2018 to 2021 and as Vice President of Joint Operations at Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management from 2008 to 2018. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Manager of Projects at ICICI Prudential Asset Management between 2006 and 2008, following a two-year tenure as an Assistant Manager of Finance and Accounts at Tata AIG General Insurance. Across nine distinct professional roles, Puthran has leveraged his background in traditional asset management and insurance operations to support early and growth-stage Web3 protocols.
