Shahram Hejazi is the Managing Director and CEO of BioAdvance, an early-stage venture capital firm, and serves as the Head of the Entrepreneurship Program at Princeton University. In his venture capital role, he oversees a portfolio of more than 100 investments and holds board seats at eight companies, including Halo Labs Inc. and Oncora Medical Inc. Previously, Hejazi was the Global Head of Strategic Business Development at Siemens Medical, where he established the company's first corporate venture fund, and served as President of Kodak’s Molecular Imaging division. He also founded Optimeos Life Sciences, a gene-delivery spin-off from Princeton, and acts as Chairman of the Philadelphia Pediatric Device Consortium at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Holding a doctorate in electrical engineering, Hejazi focuses his investments and academic work on advancing early-stage life sciences, diagnostics, and digital health technologies.
