Shahin Farshchi

Shahin Farshchi is a General Partner at Lux Capital in Menlo Park, California, where he leads early-stage investments across deep technology, aerospace, and artificial intelligence. He has funded several notable startups throughout his career, including autonomous vehicle developer Zoox, which Amazon acquired for $1.2 billion, and Nervana Systems, purchased by Intel for over $400 million. Before joining the prominent venture capital firm in 2006, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at General Motors, developing advanced vehicle technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, alongside a Master of Science and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
