Shadi Mehraein

Shadi Mehraein is a cofounder and Partner at Rivet Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing Rivet Ventures, she served as an investor at Focus Ventures, where she sourced expansion stage deals including the initial public offering of Marin Software, alongside investments in PCH International and BookRenter. Earlier in her career, Mehraein worked at Bessemer Venture Partners, guiding the firm's investment in Intacct Software while researching sectors such as ecommerce, SaaS, gaming, and digital media. Her broader investment portfolio includes angel investments in technology startups such as Matterport, inDinero, and Cue, which was subsequently acquired by Apple. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree from San Francisco State University. Mehraein currently focuses on early stage technology investments across multiple software sectors.
