Shaan C. Gandhi

Shaan C. Gandhi is the Vice President and Head of Partnerships for PAVE at Pfizer, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Pfizer, he served as a Director at Northpond Ventures, where he led biotechnology investments, and as a Principal at Longwood Fund. During his tenure at Longwood Fund, Gandhi co-founded and served as President of Pyxis Oncology, a therapeutics company that later went public on the NASDAQ. He has also held board director positions at seven life sciences companies, including CAMP4 Therapeutics, Candel Therapeutics, and Vigil Neuroscience. A physician-scientist, he completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and holds an MD and MBA from Harvard University, alongside a DPhil from the University of Oxford. His current focus centers on structuring strategic partnerships and growing commercial portfolios within the oncology and life sciences sectors.
