Seth Lieblich

Seth Lieblich is a Principal at 8VC, where he focuses on venture capital investments across the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. Before joining the firm, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Protomer Technologies, a biologics startup. He previously worked in the business development technology group at Amgen, where he managed strategic academic partnerships and served as the deal lead on the company's collaboration with Plexium. Lieblich also held strategy roles at ZS Associates and recently helped direct 8VC's participation in a $75 million Series A funding round for Photys Therapeutics. He holds a doctorate in biochemistry and molecular biophysics from the California Institute of Technology, alongside bachelor's and master's degrees from Brandeis University. His current investment focus centers on bridging academia and commercialization to build early-stage companies in therapeutics, diagnostics, and Bio-IT infrastructure.
