Seth Friedman

Seth Friedman is the Managing Director and Head of Structured Solutions at Monroe Capital in Chicago, United States. Since joining the firm in 2010, he has overseen the structuring of rated private funds for insurance investors and managed compliance for a platform with $19.4 billion in assets under management. Recently, he contributed to the closing of Monroe Capital's inaugural $315 million collateralized fund obligation, providing exposure to senior secured direct lending. Before his current position, Friedman served as an Operations Analyst at Pangaea Asset Management, a Securitization Compliance Analyst at CapitalSource Finance, and a Senior Associate Account Manager at LaSalle Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. His career focuses on private credit operations, collateralized loan obligation structuring, and portfolio management within the alternative asset markets.
