Sergio Romo

Sergio Romo is a Partner at Grin based in Mexico City, Mexico, where he leads investments in high-growth early-stage startups. He manages sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support for a fund that has backed more than 100 companies across the technology, financial technology, logistics, and biotechnology sectors. Romo focuses heavily on alumni from the Y Combinator accelerator, building a portfolio that includes notable investments in Rappi, Solugen, and Jeeves. Prior to his current partnership role, he operated as an angel investor and startup co-founder, eventually joining Grin during its Series B financing round.
