Sergio Marrero

Sergio Marrero is the Managing Partner at MCH Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Miami, Florida. Before assuming his current role in the first quarter of 2025, he held investment positions at Florida Funders and operational roles at the augmented reality startup Magic Leap. He has built an investment portfolio of more than 20 companies, which includes the 2022 acquisition of Young Urban Project and a recent $3 million seed investment in the Latin American financial technology firm NotCo. Marrero earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami, providing a formal foundation for his expertise in bridging traditional finance with emerging technology markets. His current investment strategy focuses on pre-seed to Series A funding for Latin American and United States founders developing software, consumer internet, and climate technology solutions.
