Sergio del Valle

Sergio del Valle is the Managing Partner at Canvas Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Mexico City, Mexico. Prior to co-founding Canvas Partners, he served as an operating partner at 500 Global, providing hands-on product development and scaling guidance to technology founders. In late 2024, he launched his firm's second fund with a $15 million target and recently led investments in two Latin American fintech startups. Across his career, del Valle has built a portfolio of more than 20 companies and frequently collaborates with regional investment firms such as ALLVP, Common Ventures, and Dila Ventures. He recently spoke at the Mexico VC Summit regarding founder scaling challenges. His current investment strategy focuses on pre-seed to Series A startups operating within the fintech, SaaS, consumer tech, and e-commerce sectors across the Latin American market.
