Sergey Gribov

Sergey Gribov is a General Partner at Battery Ventures based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on global enterprise software and cybersecurity investments. Before his 2021 promotion, he served as a Principal at the firm for six years following technical roles as an engineering lead at LivePerson and a software engineer at Cisco Systems. As an investor, he has executed over 20 transactions, including backing the cybersecurity platform Snyk, which reached an $8.5 billion valuation in 2022, and leading a 2022 investment in the Google spinout SandboxAQ. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Sloan Fellows MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Gribov currently leverages his engineering background to identify and scale early-stage technology startups developing cloud infrastructure, developer tools, and AI-enabled platforms.
