Sebastien Loubry

Sébastien Loubry is a Partner, Global Head of Business Development, and Chief Communications Officer at AVP. Before helping launch the firm nine years ago, he spent two decades in financial services, beginning his career in large-risk brokerage at Marsh in France and Egypt before joining AXA in 2013. At AVP, which operates with approximately 60 professionals, he supports portfolio growth following the firm's June 2024 management buyout from AXA and the launch of its €1.5 billion late-stage fund. His firm actively backs innovation-driven ventures across technology, fintech, and healthcare, recently participating in a $100 million Series B for Alice & Bob and a $168.5 million round for Flatpay. Loubry holds degrees from Sciences Po Paris, Université Paris-Dauphine, and INSEAD, maintaining a primary focus on driving corporate strategy and business development for venture-backed companies.
