Sebastian Heitmann

Sebastian Heitmann is a Partner and Co-Founder at Extantia Capital, a climate-first venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. He oversees investor relations, strategy, and platform development for the firm, which manages over €250 million in assets and recently closed its €204 million flagship fund in 2024. Prior to transitioning into the venture capital industry, he spent nearly seven consecutive years operating as the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Pure Action Sports. He holds a master's degree in economics from the London School of Economics and currently serves on the supervisory board of GA Drilling. Additionally, he acts as an active board member for the global non-profit investment organization Super Climate. His current professional focus centers on early-stage European climate technology startups developing deep decarbonization solutions across renewable energy generation, heavy industrial processes, and automation.
