Sebastian Blum is the Founding Partner of Greenfield Capital, a crypto-focused venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany. He co-founded the firm in 2018, which currently manages $50 million in assets and targets early-stage Web3 investments ranging from $100,000 to $5 million per deal. Previously, Blum served as Managing Director of the US division for T-Venture, Deutsche Telekom’s $1 billion corporate venture arm, and was a Partner at Active Venture Partners. His operational experience includes Vice President of Business Development roles at airspace security company Dedrone and photo-sharing application Cooliris, which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2014. Blum holds degrees from the Rochester Institute of Technology and NYU Stern, and he completed advanced management programs at Harvard Business School. His current focus centers on financing early-stage developer teams building decentralized internet infrastructure and blockchain technologies.
