Sean Macnew

Sean MacNew is a General Partner at Harmony Partners based in San Francisco, California, where he manages over $200 million in assets under management. Before joining Harmony Partners, he served as an Operating Partner at Sierra Ventures and held early-stage investment roles at Kleiner Perkins. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Dartmouth College. His active investment portfolio includes more than twenty companies with multiple exits, and he recently led a $15 million Series A funding round for the artificial intelligence startup Nexlify in March 2026. Additionally, MacNew joined the board of directors at DataForge following the enterprise company's $50 million capital raise in November 2025.
