Sean Lippel

Sean Lippel is a Partner and Head of Digital Assets at FinTech Collective in New York City. At the early-stage venture capital firm, he leads investments in decentralized finance, contributing to a portfolio of 77 companies and over $750 million in regulatory assets under management. His investment activity includes backing Balancer, a decentralized finance protocol that raised $24 million to develop programmable liquidity solutions. Prior to venture capital, Lippel spent five years as an investment banker at Credit Suisse covering financial services and technology, and he previously operated as an entrepreneur utilizing data analytics for online poker staking. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA from the University of Michigan. His current focus remains on identifying early-stage infrastructure and capital markets opportunities within the digital asset ecosystem.
