Sean Koffel

Sean Koffel is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Watchfire Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Santa Barbara, California. Established in 2020, the investment firm recently launched its Fund III with a fundraising target of $150 million to deploy capital across four distinct industry sectors. In his current capacity as Managing Partner, Koffel directs the firm's broader investment strategy and has personally led at least three funding rounds for emerging startup companies. Prior to transitioning into his career in venture capital, he partnered with Patrick Dillingham to co-found Windy Hill Spirits, an independent consumer beverage company focused on the commercial moonshine market. Koffel previously completed his graduate business education as an alumnus of Stanford GSB. His current focus centers on leveraging his operational background to identify and scale early-stage ventures through strategic capital allocation.
