Sean Hoge

Sean Hoge is the Founder and General Partner at Starship Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on deep technology, climate tech, robotics, and machine learning. Before establishing the firm alongside Chief Operating Officer Hugo in 2022, he co-founded the music platform crossfader, which secured early backing from prominent institutional investors including Kleiner Perkins, Index Ventures, and Google Ventures. Following his initial entrepreneurial ventures, he served as Head of Product at NVOLV and completed his business education at Tulane University's AB Freeman School of Business. At Starship Ventures, Hoge successfully raised over $30 million for the firm's debut fund, directing capital toward emerging startups such as Atmos, BRINC, and Clubhouse. He utilizes historical American business patterns to identify new technological opportunities, investing in hardware and artificial intelligence companies developing scalable solutions for planetary scale challenges.
