Scott Walker

Scott Walker is a General Partner at Wavemaker Genesis in Singapore, where he leads seed and Series A investments across Southeast Asia and the United States. Previously, he served as a Managing Partner at Jungle Ventures from 2011 to 2021, directing capital into more than 50 early-stage technology companies. His institutional background includes prior roles at Vertex Venture Holdings and an MBA from INSEAD, contributing to a career track record of over 70 total investments. Walker has backed prominent regional startups such as Carousell, Ninja Van, and Deskera, and recently led a 2024 funding round for the artificial intelligence platform Soundverse. In March 2025, he was appointed as an advisor to Singapore's National AI Strategy Office. His current focus centers on funding emerging frontier technologies, specifically targeting deep tech, enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
