Scott Swarthout

Scott Swarthout is the CEO and Co-Founder of Lavo Life Sciences, an AI-driven drug formulation company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the three-person startup in November 2022 to optimize pharmaceutical experiments using computer simulations, subsequently participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2023 batch. Prior to this venture, Swarthout worked as an Associate Product Manager at Google from 2018 to 2021, where he focused on software development and product strategy. He previously served as Co-founder and Lead Developer at Halcyon Labs between 2015 and 2018 while completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics at Michigan State University. After earning a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022, his current focus centers on applying artificial intelligence to accelerate healthcare innovation and clinical trials.
