Scott Stanford is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at ACME Capital, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing ACME Capital in 2018, he spent 12 years co-heading the Global Internet Investment Banking division at Goldman Sachs, where he advised on more than $80 billion in technology transactions involving major companies like Facebook, Google, Uber, and LinkedIn. During his 25-year career in the technology sector, he also co-founded Sherpa Capital and the corporate innovation advisory firm Silicon Foundry. An early technologist who began coding software at age 13, he holds an A.B. with Honors in Social Studies from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Stanford currently focuses his venture capital investments on deep tech ecosystems, specifically targeting early-stage companies developing artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and space technologies.
