Scott Savitz

Scott Savitz is the Founder and Managing Partner of Data Point Capital, a venture capital firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Before establishing the investment firm, he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of the early e-commerce platform Shoebuy.com, which he successfully scaled and eventually sold to IAC. Through Data Point Capital, Savitz directs investments into revenue-stage technology enterprises, backing prominent consumer and enterprise companies such as DraftKings, Rent The Runway, and Clypd, which was later acquired by AT&T. He currently holds board director positions at several active portfolio companies, including CoachUp and FlexCar, and serves as the Co-Chair of the 12 X 12 initiative in Massachusetts. His current professional focus centers on identifying and scaling emerging B2B and B2C technology platforms by leveraging his direct operational experience in the consumer e-commerce sector.
