Scott Purcell

Scott Purcell is the CEO of Securrency, now operating as part of DTCC Digital Assets, and is based in Washington, D.C. Under his leadership, the enterprise blockchain infrastructure company raised over $50 million in venture funding and secured more than 20 institutional clients before its formal acquisition by DTCC in April 2024. Prior to this role, he served as the CEO of the payments platform Triumph Global and held senior executive positions at major financial data firms Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications and Business from Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, he was appointed to the FINOS board of directors in 2023 to help develop open-source finance standards. Purcell maintains a primary focus on advancing capital markets technology, regulatory compliance solutions, and the institutional adoption of tokenized digital assets.
