Scott Petty

Scott Petty is a Founding Partner and Managing Director at Signal Peak Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He helps manage the firm's $550 million in committed capital, typically writing initial checks between $3 million and $7 million for technology startups. His investment portfolio includes notable companies such as Keap, Chatbooks, Control4, and comScore. Before co-founding Signal Peak, Petty served as a Managing Director at vSpring Capital, worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, and was the Chief Operating Officer of Zuka Juice prior to its acquisition by Jamba Juice. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Petty currently focuses on providing operational support and early-stage funding to enterprise software and internet companies outside Silicon Valley.
