Scott Nissenbaum

Scott Nissenbaum is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, a seed-stage venture capital fund based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Under his executive leadership, the organization has completed over 200 early-stage investments, grown its assets under management by more than 100 percent, and currently funds 40 to 50 regional companies annually through debt or equity. Previously, Nissenbaum spent 11 years as a Managing Director at Novitas Capital, overseeing a $235 million family of early-stage venture funds, and founded Finite Carbon in 2008. The Penn State and Saint Joseph's University graduate has served on the boards of more than 14 private and public companies, including NASDAQ-listed entities Traffic.com and USA Technologies. His current investment focus centers on supporting early-stage technology enterprises across the digital health, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and emerging artificial intelligence sectors.
