Scott Mackin is a Partner at Denham Capital and Denham Sustainable Infrastructure, where he co-leads the firm's sustainable infrastructure investment team. Prior to joining Denham Capital, Mackin served as Chief Executive Officer of Covanta Energy Corporation and held executive positions including President of Ogden Energy. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University. Mackin also chairs the boards of portfolio companies such as Roam Energy and Pontal Energy, and is a frequent speaker at the London Business School. His three-decade career focuses on directing private equity and debt investments toward global energy transition and large-scale sustainable infrastructure development.
