Scott Garber

Scott Garber is the Managing Partner of Early Light Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Baltimore, United States. Before launching the firm's first fund in 2019, he directed the Baltimore Angels investment group, where he successfully secured the initial limited partners for his new venture. His early career included founding multiple companies during and after college, as well as working alongside governmental intelligence agencies. He currently oversees two pre-seed and seed-stage funds alongside a spun-out syndicate, building on a personal track record of more than 50 angel investments that yielded a 5.1x realized multiple and a 61% realized internal rate of return. His portfolio includes early-stage companies such as Konduit and FirmPilot. Garber currently focuses on backing first-time founders in underserved secondary markets, with a specific emphasis on the cybersecurity and health technology sectors.
