Scott Fritz

Scott Fritz is the CTO and Cofounder of Stairs Financial, a financial technology startup based in New York, United States. Founded in 2020 and backed by Y Combinator as part of its Winter 2022 batch, the company develops software platforms that connect young homebuyers with personalized property searches and relevant government assistance programs. Before launching this current venture, Fritz built his technical expertise by holding various software engineering and product development roles at prominent financial institutions, including Wealthfront and PEAK6 Investments. He earned his undergraduate degree in computer science from Harvard University, where he also competed as a student athlete on the varsity football team. Today, his primary professional focus remains centered on leveraging his technical background to build scalable consumer software products that directly address modern housing affordability challenges for new property buyers.
