Scott Bonham

Scott Bonham is currently the Managing Partner at General Partner Ventures, an early-stage technology investment firm based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Prior to his current role, he served as the CEO of Wave, scaling the financial software platform to over one million users before its acquisition by H&R Block. He previously held executive leadership positions at software companies such as FreshBooks, where he focused on product strategy, commercial growth, and operational scaling. In March 2024, he led a $50 million fundraising initiative to target artificial intelligence startups, adding to a track record of managing more than $100 million across over 20 portfolio companies. Holding an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate engineering degree, Bonham focuses his current professional efforts on advising and investing in early-stage SaaS, fintech, and enterprise software ventures.
