Scott Amyx

Scott Amyx is the Chair and Managing Partner at Astor Perkins, a deep tech and sustainability venture capital firm based in New York City. He brings over 20 years of strategy and implementation experience, previously managing multimillion-dollar projects and serving as Vice President of Product Management before facilitating a corporate acquisition by a publicly traded Fortune 500 company. Amyx holds a master's degree in applied microeconomics and public policy from the University of Chicago and completed a National Sloan Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University. As an innovation advisor and technology speaker, he has engaged with prominent organizations including IBM, Singularity University, and the UCLA Space Institute. His current investment focus centers on funding deep tech solutions that address critical global challenges, specifically targeting climate change mitigation, longevity science, and the space economy.
