Sascha Guenther

Sascha Guenther is a Partner at Vorwerk Ventures based in Berlin, Germany, where he manages early-stage technology investments. He oversees initial Pre-Seed and Series A allocations ranging from €1 million to €5 million, with follow-on reserves up to €15 million, drawing from the firm's €400 million in total assets under management. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2020, Guenther served as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the Lufthansa Group-backed travel technology startup Yilu, scaling the company to over 65 employees. He previously worked as Head of Investments at the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, structuring deals for companies including cargo.one and Fleet. Guenther holds a double Master's degree in International Management from University College Dublin and ESADE Business School. His current focus centers on directing capital toward early-stage technology startups that address environmental and social challenges.
