Saranyah Douse

Saranyah Douse is an Investor on the B2B Software team at Octopus Ventures, where she focuses on scale-up stage companies that have successfully commercialized their products. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2020, she spent two years working in private equity with a focus on portfolio value creation and five years conducting financial due diligence on mergers and acquisitions. Douse is a chartered accountant and holds an economics degree from the University of Cambridge. Outside of her primary investment activities, she serves as a Trustee for the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting disadvantaged youth through athletic programs. Her current investment mandate centers on enterprise software technologies that transform traditional ways of working, leveraging her extensive background in corporate finance and post-investment value generation to support growing technology businesses.
