Sarah Luppino

Sarah Luppino is a Principal on the Technology team at M Ventures, the strategic corporate venture capital arm of Merck KGaA, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She joined the firm as an Associate in January 2021 and currently evaluates and directs investments across the frontier technology, sustainability, and electronics sectors. Prior to her transition into venture capital, she worked as a business strategy consultant at Mars & Co., where she advised corporate clients and collaborated with various early-stage companies operating in the nanotechnology and energy industries. Luppino holds a PhD in organic chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where her doctoral dissertation focused on the synthesis and practical applications of novel semiconductor materials. Her professional background combines advanced materials science expertise with strategic corporate advisory experience to identify and scale emerging hardware and sustainability technologies.
