Sarah Hardy

Sarah Hardy is the Director and Head of New Investments at Archangel Investors in Scotland, where she specializes in early-stage technology, life science, and healthcare financing. She holds a PhD in Molecular Neuropharmacology from the University of Aberdeen, and her background includes roles at the Wellcome Trust's Innovations Division, Advent Life Sciences, and the Parke-Davis Neuroscience Research Centre. Since joining Archangels in March 2016, she has managed healthcare portfolios and contributed to the firm's £13.8 million deployment across eleven Scottish companies in 2023. Her recent investment activity features directing a £2.2 million funding round for Bioliberty, a £2 million investment in 1nhaler, and a £12 million co-investment agreement with British Business Investments. Hardy also leverages her international experience to facilitate portfolio exits, notably including the acquisition of Blackford Analysis by Bayer, driving commercial success for early-stage enterprises.
