Sarah Gottwald

Sarah Gottwald is the Managing Director of Blockchain Founders Group and is based in Munich, Germany. In this role, she leads the BFG Superstars incubation program, which funds five to eight early-stage web3 projects per cohort with €70,000 to €100,000 in capital. She also recently co-founded Academy 4 Disruptive Minds to provide specialized executive training on artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies. Previously, Gottwald spent nine years in leadership positions at BMW AG, focusing on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and autonomous driving strategy, before transitioning to venture capital at Vanagon Ventures. During her tenure at Blockchain Founders Group, she successfully restructured the firm into a Liechtenstein-based corporation and achieved profitability through equity fees. Her current focus centers on bridging traditional corporate finance with early-stage venture capital to accelerate digital transformation across the global web3 ecosystem.
